Warranty

Warranty means that you can expect the supplier of a product to guarantee the quality and functioning of the delivered product during the agreed warranty period. Procartech guarantees that the items to be delivered meet the usual requirements and standards that can be set and free from any defects. 

Upon receipt of the product, this will as a rule be replaced or repaired for you once the specified defect has been determined by our Technical Service.

The expiry of the warranty

Please note that user errors that cause defects may cause the warranty to lapse. Please also note our instructions on the subject of 'return' to avoid damage during transport.

Products come standard with 1-year warranty. This guarantee excludes: specific errors caused by an accident, neglect and abuse. In addition, routine maintenance (cleaning dirty audio heads etc.), consumables (tapes, CDs, cables, batteries, accessories, etc.) And cosmetic damage are not covered. Pixel errors are not covered by the warranty and as such are excluded from a claim. Firmware updates or Hard resets are not directly advised or delivered by us only not under warranty!

– no money is returned in the case of misuse of products. (Wrongly connected etc)

This means that an article must be in good condition and function properly in normal use. When you receive an article that is not the case, we will be happy to provide you with a suitable solution as soon as possible.

If the product cannot be restored within 14 days, we will give you a replacement copy

NOTE: The warranty shall be voided in the following cases:

  • if wear and tear cannot be considered normal;
  • where changes have been made to or to the product, including repairs not carried out with the consent of Procartech or the manufacturer;
  • if the original invoice cannot be submitted, modified or rendered illegible;
  • When reselling the products to third parties.
  • where defects are the result;
  • if damage has been caused by intent, gross negligence or negligent maintenance.
  • if the cables of the system have been cut.
  • Faulty components due to a wrong energy supply:
    Smoke and short circuit marks on components (motherboard, hard drive, memory, etc.) indicate that they are connected incorrectly. In this case too, the warranty expires.
  • Damaged or removed seals:
    Stamps, barcodes, warnings or other stickers affixed to the product that have been broken or removed result in the expiry of the warranty.
  • Have you tested the device for defects yourself? Is the repair within the warranty period? Otherwise, research fees will be charged a €20,- plus shipping costs to return the items to you.
  • The warranty period starts on the day of the purchase and applies up to 1 year or within this period if we have received the product back.
  • The costs of the work performed are not credited.
  • Software returns are also not credited.
